Gwen Verdon was quite a gifted woman. She was a very sensitive and expressive actress, as well as being a great dancer. This photograph of Gwen was taken from my seat in the orchestra during a performance of "Sweet Charity" in 1966. The show in which she starred played at the Palace Theater on Broadway in New York City.
