When Harry Bellafonte noticed me taking photographs of him during the rehearsal for his 1960 engagement at the Palace Theater, he chided me for not having a Nikon Camera. Several times he would look toward me in the orchestra and shout, "Get a Nikon! Get a Nikon!" Eventually I did get a Nikon, though this photograph was taken with my Pentax. Harry's "now-and-then" glances during a performance were all in good humor.
